Del Group constructed a groundbreaking 3.141 MWp Off-Grid VSD solar system for this agricultural operation in Christiana, featuring 3141kWp of solar capacity. This farm-scale installation was purpose-built to power the variable speed drive irrigation pumps, including 1320kW of booster pump capacity and 900kW of extraction pump infrastructure, enabling efficient water management while delivering complete energy autonomy for critical agricultural operations in this remote location.

Solar Systems
Solar Systems - Hybrid
A Battery Backup system provides power to a home/office when the primary source of grid power is unavailable. The inverter automatically switches over and supplies energy to the power user via stored energy in the batteries. The batteries will again be charged by the inverter when grid power is restored, ready for subsequent power failure! This switchover occurs within a matter of split seconds and does not require any human intervention.
Solar Systems - Grid Tied
A Grid-Tied solar system is a solar energy system connected to the electrical grid. Therefore, it uses electricity from both the solar panel system and the electrical grid. Because of this, a grid-tied solar system doesn't have to meet all of the home's electricity demands.
Solar Systems - Off-Grid
With an Off-Grid system, there is no public electricity grid. When your solar system is not working (night time or cloudy days), your appliances will draw power from the batteries & backup generator. Once the battery bank is complete, it will stop receiving power from the solar system.
